Carsten Priebs

Carsten Priebs joined Biesterfeld AG in 2024 as the Global Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO), having been a successful entrepreneur and holding senior IT executive roles, including a leadership role at one of Germany’s largest companies. His aim is to delight employees, customers and partners and to create superior value by the means of digitalization, thus driving operational excellence and business innovation through technology. His efforts were recognized by the expert jury of the most prestigious german-speaking award in IT management voting him into the Top 10 of the CIO of the Year-Award in 2020 and 2021. 2021 two of his teams’ apps won the Digital Leader Awards. Carsten’s educational background is a university diploma in business engineering. Postgrads at WHU, INSEAD and Harvard Business School keep him up-to-date. He advises startups and likes to share his experience as speaker and author.
